Beef, onions, cheeses, tomato.... at HLK they want to make sure that your stomach is 100% satisfied when you leave. Just in case you’re a really big eater, they’ve got garlic bread and sautéed mushrooms on the side. Some earthy, crunchy, sweet notes to balance the strong taste of the meat melted with pasta. It’s not the most traditional lasagna, but it’s so good who the hell cares?

ENOTERRA

Enoterra is a typical French bistro which means that every meal is also an excuse to drink wine. They say it politely as a “wine pairing". In this case the excuse is a perfectly concocted, French inspired Lasagna, which means less tomato, more meat and thinker slices of cheese. Their Bolognese is done with a mix of tomato and cheese which have a richer body, so you might prefer to balance it with a more full-bodied wine. Enoterra advises you to drink it with a Spanish Red, Rioja.  Dried and puissant with high mineral notes this wine is the perfect match to tackle the strong taste of the cheese and the Bolognese. The wine will clean your mouth and refresh your papilla before adding a second wave of milky delight. Served everyday after 4pm.

Well at Wujie they want to invite their guest to rethink that assumption. Something that might help do that is their Lion's Mane Mushroom Lasagna. Instead of meat they rely on the seemingly endless supply of protein and nutriment contained in mushrooms. The Lion's Mane Mushroom comes from Fujian and has a naturally meaty texture and is very nourishing. This added to a vegetarian cheese that does not contain rennet. Nourishing and healthy. Why not?
